German/Austrian Food
I am a first-generation German/Austrian and grew up eating and cooking food from these two countries. My mother is Bulgarian and Austrian, and my father is German. They both loved the food from their homeland, and we loved it too.
Some of my favorite dishes are Chicken Schnitzel, Goulash, and Cucumber Salad, and of course, I love every German/Austrian baked good ever made. At Christmas, the kitchen is filled with a wonderful aroma from Linzertorte, Zimt Sterne, and Vanillekipferl. Here you will find easy-to-prepare, traditional German/Austrian recipes.
